About
Palong saag is made up of tightly bound clusters of soft, crumbly that form a dense head. Resembling a classic tree, the leaves are of rounded corners which is firm and tender.
Storage and Uses
Refrigerate in a loosely sealed plastic bag. It keeps well for upto 7 days. Do not store leaves for more than 5 days. Cooked and used in soups, rice, curries, saag( in Tipura), one of the most liked recipes.
